Why
did you become interested in fitness?
I became interested in competing in fitness after I had seen
several ESPN series. I made the decision to train and compete
after doing choreography for a body builder who had switched
to fitness. I have always been active and involved in athletics
and dance. This was a great avenue to do what I love.
When
did you first start working out?
I gave my mom a workout in her womb! I have been kicking and
turning ever since. Anytime I am injured and unable to exercise,
I become quite grumpy. Family is always relieved when I have
healed and have the chance to extricate my energy!
What
other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
Other activities I enjoy when I am not coaching gymnastics, tennis,
or teaching dance are: hiking, biking, rollerblading, swimming
and diving, aerobics, and circuit training.
What
are your goals within the fitness industry?
I have many goals in the fitness industry, most importantly to
be a positive role model. I would love additional opportunities
to write for fitness magazines and cover competitions and events
as well.
Additional
Notes:
A special note to my friends and family for the support and
encouragement (and a special thanks to Rebecca Lee for putting
up with me at competitions).
