Why did you become interested in fitness?
I have always been interested in fitness. I grew up with sports as a child, and competed in track, volleyball and cheerleading through out High School. I became very overweight after having my two children. After a severe warning from my cardiologist to lose 20lbs. I began my martial arts training. I then entered the MaxFormation and to my surprise, won my class! This was a turning point in my life. I have decided to pursue fitness to show others what they can achieve through hard work and dedication! Laura Mak and Monica Brant are huge inspirations to me!

When did you first start working out?

What other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
My training in Kenpo Karate is very important to me. I also love to swim, bike and do yoga to stay in shape. Playing with my two children really gives me a workout! I try to find a balance in everything I do to achieve the best possible results!

What are your goals within the fitness industry?
My goals are to continue to compete in Figure Competitions and remain visible in the fitness world. I also wish to compete in Kata Forms Competition in Karate. I am working towards receiving my 1st degree Black belt. I want to use my resources to show others how they can achieve the look they desire! I would love to be sponsored by a nutrition or fitness clothing company. Writing a column for fitness or martial arts magazines is a great possibility too!
