Why
did you become interested in fitness?
Once I got out of college, I missed doing competitive sports.
I went and watched a contest and I was hooked. I also really really
wanted to get into fitness modeling, so I was always checking
out the contest coverage and all the models in Oxygen, Muscle
Fitnes Hers, etc.
When
did you first start working out?
I have been active my whole life and spent 12 years competing
in gymnastics. I have been lifting since high school, but I feel
that I didn't really start training until about a year ago when
I joined Carla Sanchez's Performance Ready Team. It was then that
I started realizing how important diet and lifting heavy was...my
body has completely transformed since then.
What
other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
Living in Colorado, I love hiking (especially 14ers), rollerblading,
and running Red Rocks.
What
are your goals within the fitness industry?
I want to get my Pro-Card, be on that Olympia stage (and win),
and have my face on the cover of every fitness magazine (ok, maybe
not every one, but hey a girl can dream).
