Why did you become interested in fitness?
I got involved in fitness initially because I looking for a challenge. Upon graduating from college, we also graduate from college sports unless you go Pro. I was also looking for a healthy venue to promote my "look". Growing up, I always felt that my naturally muscular body would threaten my femininity. It sounds ridiculous, but true. I looked up to the women that were fit yet still loved being every bit of a woman. I saw Fitness as an entertaining and challenging way to promote a healthy lifestyle as well as help change society's concept of a "real woman".

Role Models: Lisa Lowe, Madonna Grimes, Jenny Worth, Mia Finnegan

When did you first start working out?
I was a Varsity Cheerleader at the Air Force Academy and that is where I was introduced to weight training. That was 5 years ago.

What other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
Dancing is my passion. I teach hip hop, funk and modern dance. Living in the great Northwest has developed my love for the outdoors, so I always enjoy hiking and rock climbing. Yoga and Pilates are also my style.

What are your goals within the fitness industry?
My goals in the fitness industry is to minister God's grace and love through my lifestyle and freedoms. I plan to compete, train others, choreograph, promote contests, judge and simply always be involved. If someone changes their life due to my influence, I will have been successful! But I wouldn't mind winning the Fitness America and Women's Tri-Fitness someday. And I do plan to get my Pro-card through the NPC. Let's rock - n - roll!

Additional Notes
We all struggle with it, but I also feel that it is important for people to be comfortable with who they are. With all their flaws and imperfections, their being is what's them priceless. To embrace that can lead to a life of fulfillment and bliss.
