Career
Highlights My career highlights were winning my pro card in 2001 at the
Team Universe in NY City and in 2000 my very first layout with
Flex Magazine.
Why
did you become interested in fitness?
Actually both men and women's bodybuilding inspired me to want
to compete. Watching icons Lenda Murray, Sharon Bruneau, Rachel
McLish, Flex Wheeler and Vince Taylor was such an inspiration
to me that I had to do something. Being an athlete most of my
life competing was in my nature. Although I was too tiny to compete
in bodybuilding, I decided that fitness would be the route for
me.
When
did you first start working out?
I started working out as early as third grade. I played lots
of sports and to be at the top of my game I had to work very
hard due to the fact that I was always the smallest one on just
about every team I played for.
What
other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
Everyone that knows me knows that I LOVE to rollerblade. Along
with playing volleyball and hiking GA mountains.
What
are your goals within the fitness industry?
My short term goals in the fitness industry is to qualify for
the Fitness Olympia and being featured on my first National Magazine
cover. Long term goals are to continue to be a role model for
women of all ages and nationalities and helping others to create
a healthy lifestyle and to play professional volleyball someday.
