I am also a California champion in dancing on rollerskates from 1999.

I have an own weekly, TV fitness show for Pars TV network, as well as the Maury Povich show dancing on my rollerskates, and in a national Lipton Ice tea commercial. I also have a personal video "Lioness" out also.

Why did you become interested in fitness?
I've been a competitive athlete for over 25 years. About 7 years ago I tried to compete in fitness, just for a change. Five years ago, a judge told me I am pretty big, I should try bodybuilding. I did and I got hooked. I love to train, and live healthy and be an example for people that we can do everything without enhancing substances.

When did you first start working out?
When I was about 12 years, but it was for my sports. I was a cross country skier then. I did some weight lifting always for my sports. Last 5 years, I am more and more serious though.

What other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
Weight lifting, dancing on rollerskates, rollerblading, running, hip-hop dancing, walking on the beach with my dog, Bikram's yoga... actually, I love all kinds of sports.

What are your goals within the fitness industry?
My personal physical goal is to improve my symmetry and get a great harmonious strong physique. And healthy. I want to be a muscular grandma, when I am 80 years old :-)

I want to educate masses about importance of healthy living and training. I plan to write book where the extremes of bodybuilding meet with extremes of the traditional eastern view on health. I believe in balance. Physical, mental and spiritual.

Additional Notes
I believe in the power of our subconscious mind. We have lot of power that we don't even know about. "What you think about, you'll bring about". Think happy and you'll be happy.
