Having graced the covers of some of the biggest fitness publications around, Kristia Knowles is slowly becoming one of the most popular models in the business. With her fashion model looks and her fitness model physique, Kristia has an overall look that can be matched by very few people.

However, don't even think for a second that Kristia is just another pretty face. This cover girl not only competes in obstacle course-style fitness competitions, but also events such as triathlons and eco-challenges.

Krisita's site has a very distinct look, very different from most work that I've done. For the most part, I don't create too many "themed" sites, because for the most part they can be sort of tacky. But Kristia's Barbarella-meets-Jules-Verne style has a feel that doesn't dominate the site, but compliments it. Kristia is still the center of attention, not the theme.

Her opening page was all created by hand.. well, by mouse. The alien landscape is actually a scene from Utah, and the starry background is made up of quite a few space photos layered together. But when it's all together (with that awesome photo of Kristia), I think it provides a pretty dramatic opening to the site.
