Why
did you become interested in fitness?
Since I was a child I have always been involved with sports and
training. My first love was gymnastics and then I moved
on to soccer playing (4) years of collegiate level Division IAA
soccer for Youngstown State University. In college I doubled
as an athlete and a trainer going from soccer practice to Football
practice where I assisted in as a student athletic trainer for
our National Championship Team. I completed my BSAS in Exercise
Physiology in 1998 where I attended and completed the most
sought after internship in my field in Tampa, FL.
While
in Tampa, FL I competed in the Ms. Galaxy competitions and trained
everyday. Through a job transfer I have moved to Sunny So-CAL
and continued my training and even stepped it up a bit when
I met my beloved wonderful husband, a former Marine, and began
training at the USMC's Camp Pendleton, CA. From December
of 2000 I placed myself on a strict diet (high protein & moderated
carbs) monitoring closely my vitamin and mineral intake.
From this diet and my dedicated training close to 6-7 days a week,
sometimes twice a day I felt confident enough to enter my first
fitness contest in March and won beating out 5 girls! And
the rest is history...
When
did you first start working out?
3 years old I began gymnastics and haven't stopped training yet!
What
other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
Gymnastics, surfing, running on the beach.... any sport imaginable...
I'm game!
What
are your goals within the fitness industry?
To further my career as a model and possibly pursue a career
on the SILVER SCREEN! :) ACTION FILMS !!
