Why did you become interested in fitness?
I started weight training at the age of 13. I had been in a jazz dance company for 5 years previous. I love performing and I like doing things that require discipline. I like getting up early to train, it makes me feel good. I also like the fact that I have creative control when I’m creating a fitness routine and training. I use competing as a means of pushing myself to try new forms of training, dance, and martial arts. I am truly inspired by other competitors and I look forward to the new friends I make in the industry.

What other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
I get bored doing cardio at the gym so I mix things up by sprinting twice a week, doing hip hop classes, break-dancing, cardio kickboxing, and doing yoga.

What are your goals within the fitness industry?
I am currently working on my personal video for my website, sharing my training, dieting, motivation, and lots more. This won’t be another T & A video. I want to inspire others with what I’ve learned, both the good and the bad.

Additional Notes
I currently do fitness seminars, choreography, and personal training. I would like to build my own studio so clients can come and get everything in one place. And last but not least, I want a lead role in an action movie. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for, do you?
