Why did you become interested in fitness?
I've always been interested in fitness. I've been involved in cheerleading and sports since the age of 5 when I became a school mascot for the local high school team. In high school I was on the track team, I played basketball, and of course was a varsity cheerleader and an All-American cheerleader.

When did you first start working out?
I started working out when I was 16 because our high school basketball coach "made" us. Needless to say, like everything else, it turned into a competition for me when I would try to squat, bench, and deadlift more than the other girls. When the summer began, I enrolled in a gym and have been training ever since.

It was when I was 17 years old that I say my first fitness competition and decided I wanted to pursue fitness past high school. In college, not only did I train, but I helped train others as well. I remember walking into my dorm after training one day and some of my peers told me they had just seen a fitness show on television and thought of me. They told me they thought that was something they could see me doing. Here it is 5 years later and although I am not doing the fitness routines yet, I am competing and I love every minute of it.

What other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
I enjoy spinning, kickboxing, bleachers, tennis and rollerblading. I also plan on competing in a Tri-athalon this year

What are your goals within the fitness industry?
My goals within the fitness industry are to win an overall title at a competition, to become an everyday fitness name, and of course to become a Robert Kennedy girl.

Additional Notes
I am currently the manager of a retail store in which I work about 55-60 hours a week, so my days start at 4:45 a.m. and if I am lucky end about 10:00 p.m. I am A.F.A.A. certified to teach aerobics, am StarTrek certified to teach spinning, and am a Resistance Training Specialist. In my spare time, (what little I have) my husband and I remodel houses.
