Why
did you become interested in fitness?
I have always been interested in bodybuilding and fitness, and
I have always workout hard. I always wanted to compete but never
had the time it took to devote myself 100%. I started dating and
married my husband Scott Dusang a personal trainer and he convinced
me to do it. Also a good friend of mine, Michelle Marciante competed
in 2000, and after watching her I decided that I was going to
compete this year. She gave me the name of her choreographer and
now we train together every weekend. This year we went together
to Nationals. It is really nice to have someone there with you
it can be very intimidating your first year going to a national
level show. I mean all the girls you read about and look up to
are there with you back stage its scary.
When
did you first start working out?
I started working out my first year in college. I was a cheerleader
and ran track in high school. So it was easy to stay in shape,
when I got to college, that freshman 15 started to creep up, I
wasn't having that, so I decided to start working out, and I loved
it. I have been working out ever since that was 10 years ago.
What
other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
I enjoy anything outside walking, running anything.
What
are your goals within the fitness industry?
My goal is to make the top 10 next year at Nationals. I would
also like to do some fitness modeling. I plan on competing in
Jr. Nationals, USA and Nationals in 2002.
