Why did you become interested in fitness?
My sister Holly and I had been coaching gymnastics for a number of years when a girl who was about to compete in her first fitness competition asked Holly and I to choreograph her fitness routine. Since I was eight months pregnant with my second child, Holly did most of the work. The girl went on to win her first competition and my sister turned to me and said,"you can do that". So I did. The next year I entered a local competition, came in second, and I caught the fitness bug.

When did you first start working out?
I was a competitive gymnast and a former Arkansas state champion in gymnastics and cheerleading. I started training for fitness in 1999.

What other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
Running and any outdoor activities with my husband and children.

What are your goals within the fitness industry?
I want to be an example to other women that you can balance a family and a career and still stay healthy and fit at the same time.

Additional Notes
I would like to thank all of my family who have been supportive! A very special thanks to my trainer Scott Wells & my training partner Michelle McBride.
