Why
did you become interested in fitness?
I like the challenge it gives me and the positive energy i get
when working towards a goal--such as a competition. I loved,
and still do the way my body responds to different types of training.
And I like taking advantage of having the ability to do different
things---not taking my health and physical capabilities for granted.
I want to do as much as I can while I can---you never know when
someday you may not be able.
When
did you first start working out?
I first started seriously weight training, etc. about 15 yrs
ago. I worked evening shift at the hospital and was enjoying
pizza and ice cream every night for supper. When I finally decided
that I needed to lose weight and change my diet, I started weight
cardiovascular training and got in the best shape of my life.
I decided it was a lifestyle worth keeping.
What
other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
Swimming, playing outdoor games with my kids, rollerblading,
biking, dancing
What
are your goals within the fitness industry?
I want to continue in events like the Womens Tri Fitness and
Nova Fitness and continue to become better in each event. I would
like to try some other events like Eliminator as well and maybe
a few Figure shows. Would also enjoy some opportunities for fitness
modeling and spokeswoman. (who wouldn't...right?)

Notes
Of course, I need to mention that I also have 3 gorgeous children who warm my
heart with their enthusiasm for fitness and healthy living as well. I work as
a Registered Nurse in a surgical ICU. I also have a Personal Training business
(see above website). In addition, I work as an advertising sales rep and fitness
exam instructor. (How I find time to train...I don't know)
