Why
did you become interested in fitness?
I saw a Fitness America on TV when Kelly Ryan won and thought
wow, I could do that. It is a great way to continue my love
for gymnastics, cheer and dance. It also keeps me motivated
to stay in shape year round on those days I just might not
want to go to the gym. Now that I am more into it, I realize
what a great role model I can be to women of all ages. I take
a very realistic approach to fitness by not severely dieting.
I think “Fitness” should be more about health than
competition.
When
did you first start working out?
All my life I have been active, but I started learning about
weights and gym cardio in 1996.
What
other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
Waterskiing, wakeboarding, obstacle course, snow skiing, running,
dancing and any other outdoor activity.
What
are your goals within the fitness industry?
To continue being a role model and being involved in the industry
whether through writing, modeling, training or just inspiring
others. I also want to open my own Fitness Center one day.
