The contest day

I really love to compete!!!
Even that I was tired..i was very motivated..
I wake up very early..take a shower and put the make up...
Then a friend helped me to put the tanning cream...but I didnt like the colour..I took a shower again and put another cream...
Then I went to the breakfast..the great part of the Nabba contest is the meeting with other athletes..I really appreciate to know and meet different persons with difference cultures in anyway all these persons speak a bodybuilding language...

The atmosphere in the Nabba contest is very friendly...I feel very confortable and even that important persons treat all the athletes very well..it is a big family!!

The bus went to the contest place at 8:00 am....the contest started at 9:30 with master and junior class..
Normally in the day of contest, I cant watch the others classes..almost time I stayed in the back stage with the other girls...I have a good friends, even that we compete in the same class...Normally I dont feel nervous in the contest day...I get to enjoy and have a good fun...I was feeling very happy after all the hard job that I did to arrive there...

In my class, figure 2, where the height is until 1,63m, had 32 contenders..and level was higher than last year..it is good because the sport is growing and improving...
I needed to do a lot of confronts...and I knew that I was between the last 6...but it is impossible to know what the judges are thinking...

A lot of persons said to me that I deserved to win, my coreography was great...the public loved it!! In anyway this year I stayed in second place... that is a very good place...but I know, I could win...specially in the pictures it is possible to perceived it...
Much more than win or not...every contest is a experience of life...every preparation I get to learn new things..and win myself...

The contest finish very late, and arrive in the hotel, took a shower and went to bed...I dont need to say that I was really really tired....

Last week before the trip

I left a lot of things to do close to the trip...because I accepted a invite to do a DVD for Euromuscle in Germany and I needed to change all the trip...
Even that I was feeling stressed I got to train very well and my condition is really good...

In the wednesday I took the flight, it was a long flight...I arrived in England 20 hours after...the difference time between Brazil- England is 4 hours...so arrived only thursday night...even that I dont like, I needed to start the carb up in the plane...but i didnt eat to much..I was afraid to hold water...

I always have problems with baggage..every trip I promise to myself that I will not carry too much weight.But never I get it...this time I had a lot of baggage to carry...beyond this I know that I am a very luck person..and normally the air companies lose my baggages...this time they lost my food bagage..but it arrive before the contest..in anyway I needed to change the diet that I already planned to do in the 2 last days...

I felt very tired after the trip..I didnt get to do anything...I rested all day...I was very sleeply...but I was thinking positive...I got to keep my condition...but I knew that I could be better if I got to rest one more day..

UP DATE THE WEEK...

I need to confess that my life is very crazy last days....I havent much time during the day...I am doing cardio and training weights everyday...beyond this I am planning my trip to Europe, I will compete in Birmingham (England) and then I will travel to Frankfurt (Germany) to make a posing video...I am motivated to make a video...I am in my best form and it is great oportunity...

Last days I trained really hard...even in diet i am doing some heavy workouts....sure i need more recuperate between the heavy sessions but I thin that is very important to keep something in hi intense to stimulate the nervous system..it is important to keep the tone in the muscle...specially after a long time of diet and cardio...

I am feeling better than last year..i can see much more details in different parts...my skin is very thin...I know that now the most important is to keep the balance and think positive..I know that I am doing my best...for me the most important isnt win the contest (sure that I would like to win)...but my goal is to get a better condition year after year...I choiced this sport for my life..I love everything in the preparation..even the hard diet and training...
Tomorrow I will do my last heavy leg workout and i am hungry for the weights....

I will take some pics tuesday or wednesday....now it is a pleasure to shoot..i need to enjoy my condition...

Beyond all the preparation...I AM VERY HAPPY....

HEAVY LEG DAY

Today I woke up really crazy to train legs...I need to make some power to relax my nervous..my last heavy leg workout was 10 days ago, and I was anxious for this workout...
I arrived in the gym and my bro was there waiting for me...I was so motivated for squat that i didnt make my glutes exercises prior quads...
I know that I havent too much glycogen, for this workout needs to be short and intense..I did few sets but really intense..
The workout was:

Warm up
extension warm up 2 X 20rep

Barbell squat:
1ºset 20 reps 60kg
2ºset 12 reps 100 kg
3ºset 6 reps 140kg
4ºset 15reps 100kg

Single leg press
2 sets 15 reps 240 kg

Leg extension hammer
1 set 20reps 20kg

Lying leg curl
1set 12 reps 62kg
2 set 15 reps 54kg

Stiff dead lift
2 sets 15 reps 100kg

Aductor machine
2 sets 20 reps all the weight (life fitness machine)

Glutes with ankle weights
3sets 15-20 reps 20kgs each leg


I replenished my energys right after workout, then I took some pics outside the gym....

In the afternoon I did a massage andhad to go to the skin doctor to make a DMAE treatment...
In the night, I returned to the gym and did some cardio, stretch and poses...i was really good in the mirror

heavy shoulders

I am a positive person...even in the terrible situations I try to think something good....
I did my cardio in the Coqueiros track..it is close to the sea...I ve think too much about the life and...how is important to enjoy every momment....the life is too short...then i stayed in front the sea and made some yoga and meditation exercises....

Then I went to my home and replenished my energy with whey and fruit...

In the afternoon, I had to go to tourist service to plan my trip to Europe...I havent too much time...I ate my lunch (chicken and veggies)and had to go to massage...

I ate a oat meal and whey and went to the gym...

I did shoulders and cardio....
The weight training was very good...I did some heavy sets in hammer seated press...with 40kg each side (88lbs) but my bro supported me..I think that i did 3 reps alone and more 3 or 4 forceds..
I also did some heavy lateral raises and reverse pec deck for the rear delts...
