Why did you become interested in fitness?
I saw Amy Fadhli on a cover and thought she looked muscular, yet feminine and sexy and decided I wanted to look that way too!

When did you first start working out?
After my son was born in '92, I became a full-time mom but didn't want to look like one. So with Jacob in tow I joined the local YMCA and there I worked out every day that baby-sitting hours were available for the next 2 years.

What other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
I love to run or walk outside with my dog (Phoebe - a very active Jack Russell Terrier who requires lots of exercise!). There's a beautiful park on the bay near my home were I do my CV, and even if it isn't intense it is sooo good for my soul to get out in the fresh air and sunlight and just be alone with my thoughts.

What are your goals within the fitness industry?
Now that my son doesn't require as much of my attention anymore, I have started training clients and consulting others fitness competitors. I absolutely love it! It is sooo rewarding. I think I have found my calling in life and hope to take on as many clients as my time will allow and continue to learn as much as possible.

As far as competing is concerned I am looking forward to placing in the top twenty and competing in the final portion of FAP or FUP (I've come sooo close!). I also would love to be on the cover of a fitness orientated

magazine someday!
