Why did you become interested in fitness?
I moved to Bloomington, IL, in July 1999 where I met IFBB Pro Fitness competitor, Adela Friedmansky. She became my trainer, BEST FRIEND, and inspiration! She has literally taken me by the hand and helped guide me into competing in fitness. She also introduced me to her choreographer, Kevin Creegan, of whom I also now use as my fitness choreographer. He is wonderful as a person, and OUTSTANDING with his choreography. He also does choreography for Adela, Christine Bergeron, and Anna Level.

When did you first start working out?
I began weight training in April 1999. I was an avid runner before that time and had begun racing in 5K races. I had also competed in gymnastics from fifth grade on up to my senior year in high school.

What other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
I take gymnastics and I am still involved in participating in one particular 5K race "The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure". My mother and my aunt are BOTH breast cancer survivors, therefore this race is of utmost importance to me. My husband and I work out together whenever possible, but usually I workout on
my own.

What are your goals within the fitness industry?
My main goal in fitness was to earn my pro card!!! I accomplished that goal and so now I challenge myself to become the best pro competitor I can be, while at the same time becoming an inspiration to others who would like to improve their overall health. Another goal I have is to be sponsored/supported by a supplement company and be one of their spokesman. By being a Registered Nurse and Personal Trainer, I feel I would be able to
endorse a company with great knowledge.

Additional Notes
I would just like to say that I am so very thankful to the many people who have supported me through competing in fitness. Especially my family, Adela, my AMAZING HUSBAND Bryan, and my choreographer, Kevin. I love you all!
