Career
Highlights
I just finished a 1 year boot camp that I put myself through so
that I will be ready for my first competition, the FAME Model
Search and I just finished my first photo shoot.
Why
did you become interested in fitness?
As a kid I was addicted to track and field. I loved sprinting,
I would always do well in the 100 & 200 meter races. I did
this for the majority of my youth. But when I hit my teens, I
became side tracked with boys which quickly became the centre
of my attention. Coming into my twenties with a new sense of self-confidence
weight training quickly caught my attention.
When
did you first start working out?
I have been seriously training hard for a year now and will be
on the look out for sponsorship. Hopefully I will be able to pick
up a few brands and maybe land on the cover of Oxygen Magazine
which would be a dream come true for me. Overall I’m extremely
focused on my first competition.
What
other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
To stay fit I work out six days a week for about 2 hours. I try
to have an extremely healthy lifestyle and diet, with lots of
protein. I’m starting Hatha Yoga 1 or 2 times just to switch
it up. To keep my body fat burning high I take Lean System 7,
which has really helped me with my definition in my abs and I
swear by Detour protein bars. They are by far the best tasting
bars I have ever tried, and trust me I have tried a lot.
What
are your goals within the fitness industry?
My goals within the fitness industry is to become a name that
other women in the industry say, “Now there’s a hard
working gal” or say “How does she do it”. Right
now I still feel like I’m the one looking up to people like
Monica Brant and Jen Hendershott. Hopefully I’ll be the
new breed coming in. On serious note I want to appear in Muscle
Fitness Hers and in Oxygen Magazine.
