Why did you become interested in fitness?
Bridget pursued her travel career and became a flight attendant for American Airlines. She was based out of Raleigh, N.C. where she found that living out of a suitcase was not motivating. One evening, while in her hotel room, she was introduced to her first fitness show televised where after watching it she knew that competing in a fitness show was her new goal. Bridget hired a personal trainer to prepare her for what was ahead. She resigned from the airlines and was hired by IBM as a computer specialist.

While working at IBM during the day, she then trained at the gym in the evening. She also acquired her certification to become a personal trainer and trained clients in the evening. She realized that helping motivate people and teaching them the importance of diet and exercise, was more satisfying then sitting behind a desk all day. She resigned from IBM and pursued being a personal trainer full-time.

She moved back to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family and opened her own business, "Body Fitness by Bridget". She now is a personal trainer and kickboxing instructor while still conditioning herself for fitness shows that she competes in. She says, "After my first fitness show, I was hooked!".

When did you first start working out?
If you know Bridget, you know she loves to dance. When she dances, people
can't help but stop and watch her. Bridget started performing for family, friends and spectators at the age of two. The cheer from the crowd would entice her to perform even more and dance even longer. She took ballet and jazz classes at the age of four but decided she liked her own steps and routines as opposed to following a step by step routine. She is motivated by the rhythm of the music that it takes her to new heights in her love of dancing and performing.

She then began running 5k races with her Mom whom is still her inspiration and biggest role model. They would run races together and loved the competition as well as the attention they acquired. Then attending high school she joined the track team and still holds the highest track record in the 800 and 1600 meter run. After high school she attended school for Business Management, Computer technology and Travel and Tourism.
