Photo Finish - Melissa Deal

First off, I want to apologize for the hiatus I took from blogging. Like my favorite TV show Lost, I had to take a little break, although my absence had nothing to do with hatches exploding or being captured by the Others. I've got lots of stuff on my plate, sort of like a Hungry Man dinner, and I needed to focus on some other important things (like the turkey and stuffing) before I could get back to The Eye of FitSights (the apple crumb desert).
Anyhow, you'd expect that over the past month I would've cranked through alot of shoots. I mean, this is the busy season for the sport, right? Well, I'm sorry to report that last night was my first shoot since the Cals. Yikes. However, this shoot was a long time in the making, and I'm glad we were able to put it off until last night because the conditions were perfect.
Calm winds. Moderate temperatures. Low foot traffic on the beach. Clear skies. Colorful sunset. And shooting with a good friend (and my trainer!), Melissa Deal.
We got alot of good shots, and although we were both annihilated by a rogue wave at the end of the shoot, things went great overall.
