Photo Finish - Melissa Deal (again!)

Since our first shoot was hampered by the wind and cloudy skies, Melissa Deal and I decided to give it another shot on a nicer day. So yesterday greeted us with much nicer weather (although it was very hazy and bright, but I just like to complain), and we decided to shoot in a setting a bit foreign to me — the backyard. Luckily, this particular backyard was pretty spacious and offered a couple of different areas to shoot in, so it worked out well.
Like alot of newer models, the facial expression is one of the toughest thing to master, so Melissa and I worked hard on nailing down some different looks in that realm, and she made alot of great strides during the shoot. I always implore anyone thinking about shooting, with me or anyone else, to spend some quality time in front of a mirror — not only to practice posing your physique, but also your face. The more you practice, the easier it is to know what it feels like to hit that pose or expression once your at a shot. Its sort of like muscle memory on a whole other level.
