2007 NPC Orange County results

Wow.

I just wrote a Pulizter-quality report on the Orange County show, but as soon as I go to spell check it, Dreamwaver (the web publishing software I use) crashes. And of course, I didn't save. So, in protest, I'm not going to post an official contest report and just blog instead. Why, you ask? Well, I had some problems at the show.. example A:



Yeah, this is an example of what I had sitting in front of me in the press area, so suffice to say I didn't get many photos. I've determined that I can't really pull off all these kama sutra positions with my camera sitting in the audience, trying to get a tripodless, steady shot inbetween heads and other cameras, so from now on if I can't get in the press area, its just not worth my time. So we'll see what happens at the Cal, which I think is the next show I'm slated to cover. I mean, I've only been covering NPC shows since 2003.. hook a brotha up with a folding chair!

Congrats to Farah Zaitouneh (pictured below) for winning the overall and her B Class, and to Miranda Hubbard (A), Courtney Paul (C) and Kali Knapp (D) for taking their respective classes.

It's a shame I lost that report when my program crashed.. man, it was a riveting piece of literature.
