Photo Finish - Halcy Duarte

Two years after our first shoot, Halcy Duarte has added some impressive items to her resume.

Ok, well maybe not.. but it did indeed happen this past weekend. One week out from her win in Pasadena, I got the opportunity to shoot with Halcy again, and the conditions were perfect. Cloud sprinkled skies and 75 degree weather greeted the evening, which surprisingly had a downside.. people. The bane of a photographers existence, the great weather brought people out of the woodwork (how dare they!) and straight to the beach. Luckily, the location where we shot had enough nooks and crannies that it allowed us some privacy in the beginning.. but at the end, Halcy was forced to brave the masses to get the sunset shots I was aiming for.

As always, Halcy was the consumate professional, and her posing has improved just as much as her physique since we last shot. Since the Ironman figure competition began, every overall winner has captured a pro card that same year.. and with Halcy, I definitely see that trend continuing. So jump on the Halcy bandwagon while you can.. I call window.
