Highlights
I have competed in 3 Regional NPC sanctioned Figure Events. At
each event I was able to take home the 1st place trophy.
Why
did you become interested in fitness?
I became interested in fittness by realizing that if I performed
a specific amount of "hard" work in the gym it reaped
amazing rewards as in such things as lean muscle mass, well being
and confidence. I became amazed by the way my body reacted to
working out. The more positive shape I created the harder I wanted
to work out the next day. I enjoyed what stared back at me from
the mirror and reveled in people's comments. Today I cherish most
the gift of being able to inspire other people into getting fit
and in shape.
When
did you first start working out?
When I came to this country my first job was in housekeeping.
I was responsible for cleaning a local gym. Since I had to clean
the gym at night (when it was closed and nobody was around) I
would experiment with the different type of weights and machines
and sometimes slip into the tanning booth for some quick color.
What
other physical activities do you enjoy to stay fit?
One activity that I enjoy the most right now comes from raising
a 3 year old bundle of raw energy. Trying to keep up with my son
sometimes provides me with more of an intense aerobic exercise
than the stair climber or treadmill.
What
are your goals within the fitness industry?
My long range goal is to situate myself as a knowledgable and
trusted personal trainer. I want to dispell the myths of the 30
day diet and fat loss cocktails of the stars. I hate what this
market does to the already low confident un-fit person. My goal
is to be able to provide my clients with a habit forming nutrition
and fitness program that provides real and life long results.
