Finally!
My long awaited shoot with MaryJo Cooke was finally realized today, and even though our shoot was cut a bit short due to the weather and conditions, it was definitely worth the wait. MaryJo is a true professional in front of the camera, and it made the process a breeze. Also, she allowed me to do a little styling for this portion of the shoot (we were also supposed to shoot at the beach, but that didn't happen due to the aforementioned weather), and she wanted something similar to Olesya and Gina's photos that I took earlier in the year. But I wanted to take it a step further, and give that same sexy/sporty look and add a bit of an edge to it.. a little punk rock. And luckily we were able to find a location that had some "attitude" as well, so make the whole scene come together.
I'm pretty happy with the results. MaryJo looked amazing and is ready to rock the stage at the Cals, and we were able to pull off a pretty cool look for the shoot. Can't ask for much more than that.
Well, I guess I could have asked for a uncrowded beach, no overcast skies and a bit warmer weather for the second part of our shoot.. but I guess that's pushing it. And since this is the first shoot I've done since my equipment broke, I'll take what I can get — I don't want to anger the Photography Gods again!

Conor, love the photos man...the border on the brick background image is great. Need to share some knowhow with a brother!
Rick
Haha.. the border is just a bit of Photoshoppery. Just laying down lots of textures with different grungy-looking PS brushes and other rough looking textures. The brick had alot of, uhm, grunge to it already (from what, I don't want to know!), so I just tried to enhance that feel a little with the border. Not something I usually do, but it turned out pretty cool nevertheless.
