Photo Finish - Amy Parks

The final photoshoot of my Florida trip almost ended up like my first day here, with darkened skies threatening rain and a cancelled shoot. Even though a few sprinkles fell, it wasn't enough to hamper my shoot with Amy Parks — although the wind is another story.

After 4 days being out and about at various South Florida beaches, I've come to this conclusion — its windy around here. Morning, night, afternoon.. it doesn't matter. The wind is always something to reckon with when your a photographer, and while it can provide a nice wind blown look to the hair, it can also provide a nice wind blown look to your equipment and bags, which can be a huge challenge.

Hey, no one said photography is easy. But working with models such as Amy Parks makes it a whole lot easier. Actually, I was lucky to work with alot of great models, and people in general, during my stay in Florida. Amy herself is a bit new as a model, even though she's going to be on the cover of Natural Bodybuilding magazine in the coming months. She took direction like a pro, and by the end of the shoot I let her freestyle a bit, and she showed that she was a quick study.

Hopefully one of these days I'll be able to come back to Florida and shoot with Amy and many of the other models in a bit calm and controlled conditions. But as I've learned, that may not be an easy thing to do in the wind-swept Sunshine State.

The lighting really showcases the black water-panties. Very nice!
