Just some quick notes from the Great Northwest..
- SD girl Sonia Adcock won the figure overall at the Emerald Cup, which I'm sure alot of you already know by now.
- Due to an abundance in show photographers, I didn't take photos at the competition itself. Be sure to check out FTVideo (Gene's area), TrueBodies, Twixpix and Hardfitness for all of that coverage.
- I shot from 8am until 7pm yesterday, with almost no breaks inbetween. I don't know how some of these photographers pull that off normally, because I was exhausted mentally about 2/3rd into it.
- During my trip here, I was able to work with alot of first time models, which I actually enjoy. It's great to be able to make someone comfortable with the whole photoshoot experience so that at the end, they are able to hit poses without a hitch. Props to Jackie, Stacy and Kristine for doing a great job the first time around (or close to first time for Kristine).
- I'll start posting some preview photos from my shoots later today or tomorrow. Considering I had never really been to Seattle before and the weather prospects scared the bejeezus outta me, everything turned out pretty well.
- And finally, props to the Sheraton for having FREE internet access in their business center, which I am utilizing right now. True, its the size of an airplane bathroom, but its free nevertheless.
