You know, I thought I actually got British comedy. I love Monty Python. I dig the Office. And Green Wing is hilarious. But then Virgin Mobile, creators of the clever "Happy Chrismahanukwanzakah" campaign, unleashes a new marketing venture known only as..::in deep 80s voice::
SuperBuff.
Ok, I'll admit, the campaign is pretty amusing, albeit disturbing. The website, superbuff.com, is actually a double feature — one part computerized buff granny, seen above, and one section that chronicles the adventures of the posing-suit clad duo of Flo & Jo. The best part is the aforementioned deep 80s voice in the granny video, ripping off a few "SuperBuffs" along the way. Oh, and seeing a buff granny say, "Check out my lats" is a keeper, too.
I'm sure you're asking yourself right now.. "why"? Well, since I'm American, I can't really give you a good answer on that one. All I know is that the more I look at the graphic associated with this blog post, the more I'm wondering why I ever decided to bring this up.
Enjoy!

I found that to be just a tad disturbing...
It's funny in a Mrs Doubtfire meets Austin Powers meets Kay Baxter kind of way, actually...
