In an unfortunate stroke of bad luck, fitness pro Julie Lohre tore the ACL in her left knee while doing a final run through of her routine, just one week out from her debut at the IFBB Europa. With surgery to repair the ligament on the very near horizon, Julie will still compete this weekend, however she will take the stage as a figure competitor.
If you're attending the show, I behoove you to give the girl a standing ovation when her name is called out. It's a gutsy move to compete with a complete ACL tear, even if it is figure. And if you're not going to be at the Europa, the next best thing is to email Julie and wish her well in her pro debut.
